Summary
Are you passionate about people and creativity? Polka Dot Pottery is looking for a friendly, energetic Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team, primarily on weekends! In this role, you’ll help create a fun, welcoming environment for our guests as they explore their artistic side. Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, assisting with pottery painting experiences, and keeping things running smoothly at the front counter. If you have great communication skills, love working with people, and enjoy a fast-paced, hands-on environment, we’d love to meet you!
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Greet and assist customers, helping them choose pottery pieces, colors, and design ideas to enhance their painting experience.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure each guest feels welcome and supported throughout their visit.
- Operate the cash register and POS system with accuracy, processing sales and handling cash transactions responsibly.
- Restock pottery and supplies, keeping shelves organized and displays inviting.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and cheerful studio environment by following all store policies and procedures.
- Support your teammates to achieve store goals and create a positive, collaborative work atmosphere.
What You Bring (Qualifications)
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, helpful attitude
- Previous retail experience and cash handling skills (preferred)
- Ability to operate a cash register and POS system with confidence
- Weekend availability is required
- Thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment where multitasking is key
- Reliable transportation to and from our Spokane Valley studios
