InnSeason Resorts Pollard Brook is currently seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager. As the Assistant Front Office Manager you will be responsible for assisting the Front Office Manager with department responsibilities. This includes guest satisfaction, training and assisting front desk agents with their various responsibilities (registrations, check-in/out procedures, etc.) We are looking for someone who is passionate about our guest's experience, as well as someone who can help staff meet their potential.
Duties:
- Assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the front desk and guest services.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring their needs and requests are met promptly and efficiently.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs, including processing payments and issuing room keys.
- Manage a multi-line phone system, answering questions and directing calls to the appropriate department.
- Promptly and effectively manage guest complaints or issues, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Supervise and ensure smooth operation of the front desk.
- Provide support and guidance to front desk staff.
- Ensure adherence to all front desk policies and procedures.
- Facilitate the onboarding and training of all new front desk staff according to training guidelines.
- Coordinate ongoing training for all staff with the Front Office Manager.
- Maintain our small convenience store which includes ordering and pricing.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience working customer service. Management experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using multi-line phone systems and computer software.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
