Position Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will plan and teach middle school mathematics while working collaboratively with the middle school department chair and members of the middle school mathematics department and cluster teams to support student learning and growth.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. The candidate must possess good communication and interpersonal skills. They should have experience working with and/or teaching middle school students; an understanding of the needs of students at this age; a collaborative work ethic; training/experience in the use of instructional technology; a commitment to inclusive pedagogy; and the potential to contribute to student life beyond the classroom.
License:
Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license as a middle school mathematics teacher.
