Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned Sales Representative and Estimator with extensive experience in construction to consult and provide accurate and competitive cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects.
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop accurate estimates.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Prepare bid proposals and presentations to clients.
- Monitor and analyze project costs throughout the construction process to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Stay current with industry trends, materials, and methods to ensure accurate estimating practices.
Requirements:
- Experience in construction estimating, preferably in both residential and commercial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes.
- Proficient in Google Workspace and CRM software (Hubspot).
- Problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
