What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Technician position at Pollock Company?
Duties Include:
- Set-up, deliver, and install copiers and office technology.
- Deliver/install equipment to the customer's location(s) remove customer's equipment for return to Refurb Shop or Leasing Company when needed.
- Handle and organization of documents related to deliveries.
- Assist with or perform alone as required: Set-ups, Deliveries, Pick-ups and Moves.
- Operate vehicles in a safe and timely manner, including daily inspection of the vehicle.
- Assist with storing any returned/picked-up/transferred equipment.
- Assist with warehouse operations as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical (company paid), drug screening and background check.
- Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and time management.
- Always maintain a business-like appearance.
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills.
- Able to manually lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and push and pull up to 200 pounds regularly.
Training will be provided
Guaranteed 40/hr work week with opportunities for some overtime.
Opportunity for advancement and a 6 month review and renegotiation of salary at that time.
