The Groundskeeper will play a crucial role in ensuring that our grounds are well-kept and inviting.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular lawn care activities, including mowing, edging, and fertilizing.
- Maintain landscape features such as gardens, flower beds, and shrubs through planting, pruning, and watering.
- Irrigate lawns and gardens efficiently to promote healthy growth.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various groundskeeping tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify maintenance needs or potential issues.
- Clear debris from walkways, driveways, and other outdoor areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Assist in landscape maintenance projects as directed by management or supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve overall groundskeeping goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices is a plus.
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
