Ralph Lauren Store Part Time

Position Overview:

Responsible for helping to enhance the Ralph Lauren brand aesthetic and create a memorable customer shopping experience by executing and maintaining rigs, interior displays, merchandising support and brand standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Execute changeovers and installations for the Polo Ralph Lauren Adult store in Harriman, including on-site prop placement, handling and storage, and rigging. Champion and uphold Model Store standards, coaching the in-store team on brand expectation and maintain all visual displays in store including bust form styling, props and product. Support the store team with all Brand Presentation actions and provide store specific solutions.
• Utilizing internal prop storage and organizing the logistics for each floor set installation.
• For each installation, take responsibility for assisting in procuring and compiling creative and aesthetic elements for interiors, including any decorative prop elements in partnership with Brand Image Manager
• Conduct walkthrough of location, identifying opportunities to improve and maintain the overall aesthetic and creative appearance of the site, including the overall tidiness of the store and merchandising opportunities. Communicate these to Store management team, Center Director and Brand Image Manager
• Prepare for the next installation or floor change, in keeping with a rolling creative calendar.
• Communicate on a regular basis with store team, Brand Image Manager and Center Director to ensure that Creative /merchandising needs dovetail.
• Take responsibility for staying connected to the Center Director and Brand Image Manager including updates to the directives, product deliveries and updates to the instore aesthetic.
• Actively participate in the timely updating of the Yoobic Site, including interior photo review uploads.
• Know and be aware of creative competition, learn from what you see outside of your immediate environment and report back to management on observations and insights.

Partner with Associate Manager of Operations and Merchandising in training store teams on :

• brand standards on Proper replenishment of the shop to reach ISOS baseline standard
• Stockroom organization, including prop closet and fixture storage
• Maintenance of the creative elements in the building, (bust forms and uppers)

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• Visual presentation and rigging experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills in order to execute to a running punch list maintain and install a rolling calendar and meet fast-paced deadlines with minimal direction.
• Ability to travel to multiple store locations
• Ability to conduct installations outside of standard working and retail store hours (i.e., evenings after 9 PM and weekends)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with supervisors and peers

Position compensate: Hourly
