Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and design, utilizing various software tools to create detailed technical drawings and schematics. This role is essential in supporting our engineering and design teams by transforming concepts into precise visual representations that guide project execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.
- Create and modify schematics and layouts for various projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Utilize MicroStation and NavisWorks for project coordination and visualization.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports and presentations.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all drafting work.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on design feasibility.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, MicroStation, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of drafting principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Experience in creating schematics and technical drawings for various applications.
- Familiarity with 2D animation concepts is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to articulate design concepts clearly to team members.
