Job Summary :
Polson Health and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a Dietary Services Manager that has a passion for food and nutrition and providing a great dining experience for our residents.
Essential Functions :
- Manages dietary policies and processes with the assistance of the Dietitian.
- Represent the dietary department at staff meetings and communicate pertinent information to staff.
- Compliance verification at both State and Federal levels of participation for long-term care.
- Adapts menu cycle to individual and Center preferences with the Dietitian.
- Supervises procurement, ordering, receiving, and storage of food.
- Supervises food preparation and service, including direct participation as needed.
- Ensures all standards and requirements are met with regard to :
- Sanitation and Cleaning
- Food Service
- Ordering and Storage of Food and Sanitation Supplies
- Dietary Staff Hygiene
- Equipment Maintenance and Upkeep (food service and otherwise)
- Ability to work collaboratively with Center and Divisional leadership.
- Direct communication with Center residents to obtain preferences, recommendations, etc.
