Overview :
Pol-Tex a division of Poly-America, L.P., a leading manufacturer of plastic products, is seeking a Maintenance Helper at its Mont Belvieu, Texas location. A successful candidate must be able to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities :
- Dismantling devices to gain access to remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, power tools, and safety lock-out devices.
- Examining form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
- Inspecting used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
- Adjusting functioning parts of devices and control instruments.
- Repairing or replacing defective parts.
- Installing special functional and structural parts in devices.
- Testing the performance of devices.
- Lubricating and cleaning parts.
