Construction Foreman Position Overview

Poly Enterprises & Sons, Inc. is seeking smart and motivated individual to inspire and effectively lead installation crews.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- High school Diploma or equivalent is required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred. 5 years of experience as a crew leader or foreman is preferred as well.
- Have a positive attitude and the ability to think quickly and to problem solve without hesitation. Ensure all work performed is done so in a professional manor and with the highest quality standards in accordance with all building codes and OSHA regulations.
- Work well in a team environment where situations and demands change daily.
- Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous manual labor required to complete each project. The ability to lift and carry heavy materials, and work in an outdoor environment with often varying weather conditions.
- Works closely with the Owner & General Manager to understand all aspects of the project, issues and time frames.
- Will supervise a team to complete specific jobs providing directions to workers on the order of tasks to be performed.
- Ensure all materials and equipment is on the truck BEFORE leaving the yard.
- Inspect work performed by employees and provide constructive feedback and instruction.
- Will be responsible for all equipment and materials, including items such as a work truck, skid steer, small tools and equipment and remaining product to ensure it is damage free. Ensure that the worksite is safe and cleaned on completion of installation.
- Constant communication with the General Manager to monitor progress.
- Must track and maintain the inventory of supplies and materials to guard and ensure that vital materials are ordered and delivered in a timely manner to meet production schedule.
- Provide necessary input in project planning as requested.
- Will be responsible for training for new hires.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
