Responsibilities
- Assemble and install different types of fencing, including wood, vinyl, chain link, and ornamental styles.
- Have a positive attitude and the ability to think quickly and to problem solve without hesitation. Ensure all work performed is done so in a professional manor and with the highest quality standards in accordance with all building codes and OSHA regulations.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and install materials accurately.
- Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of fencing materials on job sites.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation methods based on terrain and customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist with masonry tasks as needed for fence installation, including setting posts in concrete.
- Follow safety protocols at all times while on the job site.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or equivalent is required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred. 5 years of experience in fencing installation or a related construction field.
- Work well in a team environment where situations and demands change daily.
- Have a positive attitude and the ability to think quickly and to problem solve without hesitation. Ensure all work performed is done so in a professional manor and with the highest quality standards in accordance with all building codes and OSHA regulations.
- Familiarity with masonry techniques is a plus.
- Ability to operate various power tools safely and effectively.
- Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous manual labor required to complete each project. The ability to lift and carry heavy materials, and work in an outdoor environment with often varying weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of concrete forming processes is advantageous.
- Will be responsible for all equipment and materials, including items such as a work truck, skid steer, small tools and equipment and remaining product to ensure it is damage free. Ensure that the worksite is safe and cleaned on completion of installation.
- Works closely with the Owner & General Manager to understand all aspects of the project, issues and time frames.
- Ensure all materials and equipment is on the truck BEFORE leaving the yard. Must track and maintain the inventory of supplies and materials to guard and ensure that vital materials are ordered and delivered in a timely manner to meet production schedule.
- A valid driver’s license is required for transportation to job sites.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
