Summary
The Territory Sales Representative provides guidance and support with the existing customer base and is responsible for growth within the identified market. The territory consists of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and portions of Georgia.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients/customers.
- Identify and locate new clients/customers through a variety of methods including networking and cold calling.
- Develop and implement strategies for sales in the assigned region/territory.
- Apply knowledge of the Building Industry and product features to match products to the needs of clients.
- Participate in client events and provide training and solutions to the needs of clients/customers.
- Negotiate prices, terms of sales, and/or service agreements; prepare needed contracts and submit orders as necessary.
- Collaborate with purchasing departments, managers and sales teams regularly.
- Prepare reports and collect information and data as needed.
- Properly maintain expenses.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 4-5 years outside sales experience.
- Building products industry experience preferred.
- Must reside in North Carolina or South Carolina.

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
