Job Description:
Polycase is seeking candidates for a second shift operator position in our CNC department. No CNC experience required. Second shift is a 4/10 schedule (four ten-hour days per week) Monday - Thursday 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM. CNC Operators are responsible for all production on CNC machining centers loading and unloading parts. The facility is located in Avon, Ohio.
** Effective and interested operators will be given the opportunity to learn CNC set up and program editing with a defined path for career and pay growth.**
The factory is very clean and well lit, and many of the machines are under five years old. Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform Operator role on CNC machine centers.
- Load and unload small, light-weight parts.
- Perform visual inspection of parts for quality defects.
- Clean parts with compressed air.
- Neatly pack parts.
- Meet or exceed key performance metric targets.
- Adhere to documented process and work instructions.
- Keep work center neat and clean to maintain a safe work environment.
- Adhere to all polices with respect to time and attendance, workplace rules and safety policies.
