Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our third shift team at our busy distribution center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse. Duties: - Operate forklifts including order pickers, reach trucks, and clamp trucks to load, unload, and move materials - Safely transport products or materials to designated areas in the warehouse - Stack and organize products or materials in the appropriate storage locations - Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues or malfunctions - Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment - Assist with inventory control by accurately documenting all movements of products or materials - Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow Requirements: - Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role in a warehouse or distribution center setting - Valid forklift operator certification - Proficient in operating various types of forklifts including order pickers, reach trucks, and clamp trucks - Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required (up to [INSERT WEIGHT]) - Basic math skills to accurately document inventory movements - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
