What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Systems Process Analyst position at PolyCon Solutions?
PolyCon Solutions seeks a hybrid Business Process Analyst to support our subcontractor and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) client and their Office of Human Resources (HR) based out of Washington, DC. The candidate must have experience in performing a variety of administrative and organizational support duties that require a wide range of knowledge and skills specific to organizational procedures and policies; direct and assist customers, and resolve administrative problems and inquiries, possess solid interpersonal skills (oral & written); capable of multi-tasking priorities and self-motivated.
Responsibilities:
- Compile, track, and analyze data; provide solution recommendations based on advanced data analysis.
- Perform a combination of routine and multiple varying assignments in support of HR programs.
- Track and analyze data to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Establish and/or utilize control procedures to maintain and report completion status or completion dates of actions ensuring deadlines are met.
- Ensure organization's administrative processes are functioning efficiently and effectively and in accordance with current guidance, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintain and update organizational information systems to ensure accurate account of information.
- Use a variety of software programs to prepare narrative documents, reports, graphs, and charts.
- Manage calendar activities to ensure efficient time management, requiring negotiating time and place for best logistical arrangements.
- Prepare, track, maintain, and distribute correspondence for various actions.
- Assist in preparing meeting agendas and scribe notes for distribution.
- Maintain schedules and preparation of monthly status reports.
Qualifications:
- Skilled in analyzing administrative functions and work processes to make or develop new, or revise current administrative processes
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and the ability to become familiar with agency-specific programs and software
- Experience prioritizing and accomplishing multiple and varying assigned administrative
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (any field/subject)
- Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant organizational and operations experience
- Experience using reporting tools (SharePoint, Tableau, Power App)
- Experience providing complex administrative support in a high-profile environment with tact and diplomacy
- Possess excellent customer service skills
- Ability to commute to FAA office (800 Independence Avenue, SW Washington, DC 20591)
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass FAA security screening for positions of Public Trust.
