We're HIRING... a Building Maintenance Technician!
More importantly, we’re looking for a self-motivated individual who can work independently while performing preventive and reactive maintenance tasks on our facility and equipment. This person must have a find-a-way mindset and be eager to learn, problem-solve, and contribute to the overall efficiency and safety of our plant operations.
This includes repairing all types of machinery and includes painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and housekeeping 5S and Lean activities.

Primary Responsibilities:
Assist management with the following tasks—
- Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues in the building and production areas.
- Conduct inspections to ensure the facility remains compliant with safety regulations and company standards.
- Assist with the installation and modification of facility equipment and infrastructure.
- Perform general repairs, including painting, drywall patching, flooring repairs, and carpentry work.
- Operate a forklift to transport materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in an organized manner.
- Support production operations by ensuring the facility remains in top operational condition.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or GED; additional technical certification or training in mechanical or electrical fields is preferred.
- 2 years of experience in facility maintenance, construction, or related fields.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Mechanical and basic electrical tool experience (hand wrenches, torque, caliper, pipe wrenches, power tools, air tools, hydraulic tools).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair building-related issues efficiently. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Must be able to complete work order forms, take directions, be organized, and can effectively communicate with direct supervisor and management.
- Must enjoy working with people and take on all tasks with a friendly “can-do” attitude.
- Comfortable working independently and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
