Summary:
Provide raw materials and components to production operation. This is achieved by properly setting-up, loading, unloading, mixing and moving raw materials and components within the plant and in accordance with the needs of the production schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Abide by all policies, procedures & work instructions including but not limited to the Employee Handbook.
- Execute policies, procedures & work instructions as documented within Polyfab’s software system as appropriated to the position.
- Based on production demands, load, unload and transport materials and components to designated areas.
- Packages and removes remaining materials and moves to appropriate storage area
- Inspects and opens containers and attaches identifying information.
- Move conveyors, grinders and dryers to facilitate production needs and utilizes mechanical equipment as needed.
- Abide by Standard Work for various jobs including but not limited to tear down, cleaning and setup of all equipment.
- Strong emphasis on maintaining 5S. Maintain clean and safe work area (both shop and warehouse).
- Complete all appropriate paperwork in an accurate, timely and efficient manner.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must have successfully completed any existing or new training programs as developed by the company.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Applications.
- Capable of demonstrating mechanical aptitude.
- Previous injection molding experience preferred.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and interpret various Polyfab LLC documents, which are written in English.
- Ability to write business correspondence and work instructions.
- Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from all Polyfab LLC business partners.
Mathematical Skills
- With or without a calculator, must be able to accurately add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
- Ability to calculate figures/amounts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, rate and pounds per hour.
- Ability to apply these mathematical concepts to practical situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to accurately read a scale and tape measure.
Physical Ability
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds required.
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for 8 hours per shift.
