Summary/objective
Maintenance Techs are responsible for installation, troubleshooting and repairing electronic, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems of equipment.

Work environment
Manufacturing production floor. Must be able to work in extreme heat or cold work environments.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work standing up, walk, use hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment, and speak and listen, both over the phone and in person to fellow employees, in order to perform the above listed duties. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to work in a seated position, climb or balance and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 50-100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Required education and experience
· 5 years of manufacturing and facilities maintenance, preferably in automotive parts but not required
· Must have basic and hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repair in the following areas:
· electrical/electronic systems
· robotics
· pneumatics
· hydraulics
· mechanics
· Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs
· Operate material handling equipment, machinery, and powered equipment
· Must follow Lock Tag Tryand promote a safe working environment
Preferred education and experience
· Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repair: electrical/electronic systems, pneumatics, robotics, PM, and demonstrated skills with power tools, welding and measuring equipment.
· Strong background in hydraulic repair and troubleshooting
· Basic experience in programming/troubleshooting A-B PLC controlled systems
· Position also requires documentation, corrective action planning, cost savings measures and basic PC skills.
