The Administrative Assistant is a key member of the Sandusky Team. They are responsible for coordination of daily administrative activities for the Sandusky site, including order entry, shipment management, customer service and office organization. Superior organization skills, dependability, flexibility and an aptitude for numbers and technology are some of the qualities that will make a person successful in this role.
Primary Functions:
- Coordination of daily administrative activities
- Enter quality results and inventory consumption on production orders using SAP software. If there are deviations to either, resolution is sought through contacting the Senior Production Supervisor or designee
- Review and finalize production orders
- Communicates all quality/safety concerns to a member of the Management Team
- Assists with inventory control
- Back-up for Production Scheduler and Plant Support Supervisor in their absence
- Enter Goods Receipts for Raw Materials and Supplies
- Assists in late shipment reporting
- Maintaining COI’s for contractors
- Other duties as assigned by the Plant Support Supervisor
Housekeeping:
- Ensures that the housekeeping and appearance of the office is acceptable and visitor ready
- Aide in preventative maintenance by identifying machinery and/or equipment that may have issues or malfunctions and report any items that need to be addressed.
Safety/Environmental:
- Ensures that all activities meet all environmental, quality, energy and safety regulations
- Complies with all PPE requirements
- Reports hazards, incidents and near misses to immediate supervisor
- Participate in ISO 9001 audits and other relevant regulatory standards

Required Education and Experience
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, college education a plus
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Good systems knowledge: SAP, Microsoft Office, Teams
