What You’ll Do
As the EHS Manager, you’ll be part of the site leadership team and take ownership of all things safety and environmental:
Environmental Compliance
- Manage compliance with EPA, RCRA, SPCC, SWPPP, and air permitting
- Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste programs
- Ensure compliance with industrial wastewater treatment standards
Health & Safety Leadership
- Lead life-critical safety programs (LOTO, confined space, hot work)
- Facilitate Safety Committee meetings and site safety initiatives
- Conduct site audits, investigations, and corrective action planning
- Deliver training (including new hire onboarding and LMS coordination)
Process Safety Management
- Administer and audit the PSM program
- Lead risk assessments, JHAs, and incident response efforts
- Drive a culture of accountability and proactive safety practices

Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field—or equivalent hands-on EHS experience
- 5 years in an EHS leadership role in chemical or high-risk manufacturing
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, DOT, and PSM
- Experience responding to hazardous material incidents and environmental spills
Preferred Certifications
- CSP, CHMM, OSHA 30
Critical Skills
- Strong field presence and relationship-building
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Training delivery and mentoring
- Calm under pressure and adaptable
- Competency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and LMS systems
