Job Summary
Responsible for designing and conducting experiments toward the development or improvement of fiber reinforced polymer composites to create value for customers. Responsible for developing a testing plan, and procedure, data analysis, and communication of results. Three plus years direct, relevant experience with the ability to operate with little to no direction. Successful candidate will be creative and impactful within a team environment.
Essential Functions
- Develops with minimal guidance products adhering to customer specifications, quality, and operational goals and standards.
- Conducts or actively participates in materials testing to facilitate scale up to production.
- Contribute to product platform development through application of statistical experimental design, product testing, and data analysis.
- Identify material and other functional specifications to meet customer requirements.
- Supports marketing and sales through development of product and application data.
- Ability to serve as technical resource to other team members.
- Coordinates with manufacturing partners to establish quality and testing conditions for new materials.
- Other duties as assigned.

The base salary for this position is between $91,800 and $112,200 with incentive bonus potential. Final compensation within this range may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
