Troubleshoots equipment and processing issuesOperates machinery to mix, extrude / discharge or handle materialsMay take samples of materials to lab for evaluation and instructions on any batch adjustments if neededPerforms all required machine cleaningDocuments work completed as required including logs, data reports, procedures, etc QualificationsHigh School diploma, General Education Diploma (GED) or equivalent training & experienceWork experience in an industrial operations environment preferredAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, or procedure manualsMust have mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Must have the ability to use conversions, work with different units such as weight, volume, density, distance, etc.Physical DemandsRequires standing and sitting for extended periods of time, talking and listeningMust be able to walk and use hands.
