Job Summary
Position leads and coordinates the plant's Quality Management System, ensuring ongoing compliance with quality certifications, and providing technical support for Environmental, Health & Safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains process conditions to ensure product consistency and adherence to specified conditions.
- Ensures products and process changes are implemented according to MSA/CSA procedures.
- Develops and maintains a sound quality management system.
- Coordinates customer complaints and implements corrective actions.
- Provides training to production employees on quality and safety procedures.
- Supports plant personnel on OSHA, state environmental, and federal DOT regulations.
- Obtains and maintains regulatory permits.
- Reviews and prepares regulatory reports.
- Responsible for Industrial Hygiene Monitoring Program.
- Participates in EH&S audits and maintains documentation.
- Maintains raw material review boards.
- Stays current on regulatory issues.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Cross-functional problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing industry and safety procedures.
