We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemical Production Operator to join our team at our Rome, GA facility. Responsibilities
Operate and monitor chemical production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to identify and resolve any issues.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation, including batch logs and quality control reports.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve production processes and efficiency.
Move controls to adjust feed and flow of liquids and gases through equipment in specified sequences
- Open valves or operate pumps to admit or drain specified
Participate in routine maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment.
Adhere to all environmental regulations and company policies regarding chemical handling and disposal.
Package materials into a variety of containers per customer specifications
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.Previous experience in chemical production or a similar industrial environment preferred.Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in a chemical production setting.Ability to operate and troubleshoot production equipment effectively.Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.Ensure that quality is up to required standards Essential Qualifications and Skills : To successfully perform this job, an individual must be able to perform each key responsibility in a satisfactory manner through individual effort or effective and appropriate collaboration. Various operations in the plant generate noise, dust, vapor, and fumes in the normal course of production.
