General Function : With moderate supervision, utilize detailed documentation to perform basic inspection, testing, upgrades and repairs of "Devices" that include, but are not limited to, desktop PCs, laptop, printers and peripherals.

- Repair of damaged / nonfunctioning devices of a single category, e.g. laptops, including the replacement of non-warranty parts.
- Disassemble devices found to be damaged or non functioning to reclaim parts.
- Refurbish and cleanse devices prior to storage or shipping.
- Following detailed instructions or diagrams.
- Perform basic testing of devices
- Adhere to all company and department policies, processes and procedures.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this class, employees are regularly required to stand or walk for up to 95% of the time; talk or hear, in person and by multi-media; use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate tools, air hoses, office equipment and tiny computer parts (smaller than ¼ inch); reach with hands and arms and lift up to 45 lbs.
