Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications : Graduation from high school or GED; must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid First Aid & CPR certificate, and possess a School Security Guard Certificate (SB1626). Pass pre-employment physical. Desirable : Paid or voluntary experience working with children or students.

To be considered for a position within the classification Campus Security Assistant (Substitute) you must meet the education and experience requirements indicated above.

Employment is contingent upon fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice. Fingerprints will be taken at the time the position is accepted. There is a fee of $44.00 for fingerprinting. Payment is due at the time of service in the form of a money order, cashier's check or cash - PERSONAL CHECKS NOT ACCEPTED. Current employees of the Pomona Unified School District have already received fingerprint clearance; therefore, it is not necessary to clear again for a new position.
