Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical work and mechanical systems. Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in repairs and installations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and functions.
- Work with low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct field service tasks, providing on-site support for equipment malfunctions.
- Operate hydraulic systems and scissor lifts safely during maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team members on projects requiring mechanical knowledge and expertise.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Skills
- Proficiency as an industrial electrician with hands-on experience in electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of voltmeters and their application in troubleshooting.
- Experience working with low voltage systems is preferred.
- Field service experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to work independently on-site.
- Mechanical knowledge that includes familiarity with hydraulics and other mechanical systems.
- Ability to read schematics accurately for effective problem-solving.
- Experience operating scissor lifts safely in various environments.
- Welding skills are advantageous for repairs and modifications as needed.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments to ensure quality control during repairs.
