This mechanic will be responsible for performing auto and light truck services, with other tasks based on experience. Job Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes, tire alignments, brake and shock replacement, and other mechanical services
- Maintain and replace tires
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Troubleshoot customer needs and inspect vehicles for additional problems
- Perform general housekeeping in work area
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Mechanical experience
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment driver's file
- Ability to inspect vehicles for additional problems
- Ability to use basic hand tools, air wrench, and other essential tools
- Ability to work independent with minimal supervision
Physical Demands:
- Ability to carry, move or lift to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Frequently standing, twisting, bending, stooping, crouching, and crawling
- Frequent use of fingers and hands to grasp items, frequent reaching above the shoulders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
