- Prepare accurate cost estimates, track required parts, and provide time projections for scheduled repairs
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by effectively addressing their service needs
- Update and manage computerized customer profiles to ensure accurate records
- Monitor customer service history to schedule routine maintenance and identify future repair needs
- Coordinate and schedule work orders for Service Technicians to optimize efficiency
- Clearly communicate repair costs, required parts, and service details to customers, ensuring transparency throughout the process
- Document repair job details in the company system and create clear, concise repair instructions
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass pre-employment driver’s screening
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience as a Service Writer or in a similar role
- Proficiency in computer systems and office software applications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
- Ability to interpret customer concerns and effectively communicate technical issues to the service team
- Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly; occasionally lift, push, or move 100 pounds
