- Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet production and sales demands
- Maintain product identification and location program.
- Analyze sales data, inventory trends, and demand forecasts to make informed inventory decisions
- Implement strategies to minimize inventory costs, including reducing overstock and preventing stockouts
- Develop and refine inventory management processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Work closely with sales, production, and procurement teams to align inventory with business needs
- Generate and present regular inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics and insights
- Ensure inventory practices comply with company policies and industry regulations
- Responsible for completing physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations.
- Use inventory management software to track inventory levels and orders
- Manage and maintain accurate receipt, storage, and audit of inventory
- Track and report non-conforming product.
- Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.
- Document damaged product.
- Must be able to pass the forklift certification test and drive a forklift daily.
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma
- Experience working with Microsoft Applications
- Experience in counting materials in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven work experience as an inventory control or similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be detailed oriented.
- Strong Communicaiton and collaboration skills
- Frequent standing, walking, stooping, crouching, climbing, twisting, sitting and reaching.
- Sit behind a desk for prolonged periods.
- Frequently lift 30 lbs. or more.
- Good eye-hand coordination
