- Explain to guests how games are played
- Fix machine malfunctions, clear paper jams, fill printer paper, help with stuck tickets and money jams
- Do manual payouts, reboot machines when screens freeze up, resolve discrepancies with both money and tickets
- Key machine for jackpots
- Responsible for monitoring guest and staff for suspicious activity
- Get drinks for guests, ask them how they are doing and if they’re having fun, cheer them on to make them feel special when they win. But never congratulate on a progressive win until verified by vendor
- Help keep the casino clean and the appearance professional
- Make sure all machines are maintained and in working order and help stock fountain machines
- Fill out proper paperwork for manuals, reprints, lost money/tickets, and customer discrepancy reports
- Knowledge of Mics/Tics and ability to recognize inconsistency that could lead to violations
- Constant mental alertness is needed
- Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Interacts with guests in a pleasant, professional, and friendly manner.
- Ensures that exceptional internal and external guest service standards are always number one
- Be always courteous and professional to co-workers, guests, vendors, or anyone you may have contact with while on duty
- Must always wear your gaming badge on upper left quadrant while on duty or doing business in the casino
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by immediate or controlling supervisor
