About the PositionWe are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of experience selling architecture, engineering, and construction management services within the Medical Device Manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business from Medical manufacturing clients across the United States, with projects spanning multiple markets and geographies. This is an exciting opportunity to broaden your expertise and deepen your skills in design projects across various sectors.
The successful candidate will work independently to identify and secure new business opportunities, fostering relationships with key clients in the Medical Device Manufacturing sector. You will need to communicate effectively with executive teams, providing regular updates on pursuit strategies, status, and fiscal performance. Your entrepreneurial mindset will be key in analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for business growth. While this role offers the flexibility of remote work, it will require travel to coordinate with Pond's Engineering and Management teams, as well as for client meetings.
Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, with 8 years of related sales experience in the Medical Device Manufacturing industry.
Experience in Medical Device production or A/E/CM services for the Medical industry is preferred.
Ability to work well within a team environment, maintaining a positive attitude and being self-motivated to produce high-quality work.
Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to update leadership on pursuit strategy, status, and fiscal performance.
Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally.
In-depth understanding of the services and technical expertise Pond offers, with the ability to package and communicate those offerings to prospective clients.
Entrepreneurial mindset to analyze the market, prioritize opportunities, and drive business growth.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Willingness to travel as needed for client interactions and coordination with internal teams (roughly 30-50% of the time)
Salary : $100,000 - $160,000
