About the Position
We are seeking a Scientist to join our growing Environmental team out of one of the following offices : Atlanta, GA (Peachtree Corners, Cobb County, or Mid-Town) Jacksonville, FL; or Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate possesses 5 years of experience serving as an environmental consultant and / or environmental regulatory agent, preferably with experience in renewable energy, oil & gas, transportation, or federal projects. The successful candidate would lead environmental field studies (e.g. wetland delineations and functional assessments, threatened and endangered species surveys, NPDES inspections, Phase I / II ESAs, etc.) and document production (e.g. technical reports, NEPA documents, permit applications, etc.). The successful candidate would be mentored by our dynamic team of environmental professionals while supporting a range of multidisciplinary projects. The successful candidate would also interface with clients and support proposal development.
Knowledge and Experience :
- Jurisdictional wetland / water delineations
- Protected species habitat assessments and surveys
- Federal / state / local permitting & mitigation support
- Manage schedules and environmental special studies
- Coordination with interdisciplinary teams of designers and environmental SMEs for various infrastructure projects
- Ideal candidates would show specific experience with GDOT, Energy, Renewables, or Federal projects

Additional Information
Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Scientist II with a salary range of $57,900.00 - $98,400.00 .
