About the PositionWe are searching for an experienced Pipeline Integrity Engineer to join our growing team in The Woodlands, TX office. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of related experience and a desire to grow, collaborate, and innovate in a dynamic and technically challenging environment. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting pipeline integrity management programs, conducting risk and threat assessments, performing field inspections, and managing project execution for both natural gas and hazardous liquid pipelines, following federal regulations such as 49 CFR 192 and 195 and state regulations such as the TRRC.
This position offers the opportunity to engage in a wide range of integrity-related activities, including managing inline inspection (ILI) tool runs, executing direct assessment methods such as External Corrosion Direct Assessment (ECDA), Internal Corrosion Direct Assessment (ICDA), and Stress Corrosion Cracking Direct Assessment (SCCDA), managing and conducting bell hole inspections, reviewing NDE data for repair recommendations, performing pressure testing design and result review, and preparing detailed engineering reports and analyses to support compliance and integrity management initiatives. The role also requires a solid understanding of risk modeling, data integration, and GIS-based tools to support threat analysis and pipeline safety evaluations.
Experience and Qualifications
5 years of related experience in pipeline integrity management for natural gas and hazardous liquid pipelines.
Strong understanding of pipeline integrity regulations (49 CFR 192 and 195) and industry standards (ASME B31.8S, NACE, API).
Experience with inline inspection (ILI) tools and data interpretation.
Expertise in direct assessment methodologies (ECDA, ICDA, SCCDA) and indirect survey techniques (e.g., CIS, DCVG, ACVG).
Familiarity with risk modeling, data integration, and GIS-based tools.
Ability to develop and implement Integrity Management Programs (IMPs) for pipelines.
Knowledge of pressure testing design and result review.
Certifications such as NACE CP1/CP2, API 1169, API 510, API 570, API 653, or PE license are highly preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
Ability to work well within a team environment, maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate multi-tasking and project management skills.

Salary : $75,900 - $95,900
