About the Position
Pond is seeking an experienced Piping Designer to join our Energy Mechanical team in either one of the following Pond offices (Atlanta, GA; Peachtree Corners, GA; Tampa, FL; The Woodlands, TX; Denver, CO). This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects within the Energy sector, including midstream terminal facilities, processing plants, and both commercial and military fueling systems. As a Piping Designer, you'll be responsible for creating detailed 3D CAD models and drawings while collaborating closely with the Mechanical and Process Engineering teams. A solid understanding of P&IDs, piping / equipment layout, and isometrics is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and produce 3D models and drawings for mechanical piping and equipment, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
- Develop P&IDs and PFDs under the direction of a lead engineer.
- Create and maintain piping specifications based on specific project needs and requirements.
- Uphold company design and drafting standards to ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment while meeting project deadlines and quality expectations.

Additional Information
Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Designer II with a salary range of $58,700.00 - $99,800.00 .
