About the Position
We are seeking a Power Systems Study Engineer to join our growing Professional Design Group in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. The ideal candidate possesses 3 years of related experience in power system studies and electrical safety scenarios. The candidate should be familiar with industry best practices for electrical safety in the workplace and design in a professional environment.
The successful candidate will be mentored by our dynamic team of electrical engineers while supporting / leading a range of electrical safety. The successful candidate will also interface with clients and support proposal development.
Successful Candidates Will :
- Have experience writing Coordination and Arc-Flash Study reports.
- Be familiar with NFPA 70E, IEEE 1584, NFPA 70, ANSI C37 and relevant IEC standards.
- Have experience preparing time-current curves (TCCs), performing load flow analysis, voltage drop calculations on three-phase systems, and evaluating overcurrent protective devices (OCPDs) for coordination and system suitability.
- Perform site visits to gather, document and compile system data.
- Be able to manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements.
- Provide input into group processes, procedures, and template documents and tools.

Additional Information
Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Electrical Engineer II with a salary range of $75,900.00 - $116,000.00 .
