About the Position:
We are currently seeking a Mid to Senior-level Electrical Engineer to join our growing Professional Design Services team in Honolulu, HI (Hybrid). This role will primarily support federal facilities projects, with a particular focus on the Department of Defense (DoD) facilities throughout the Pacific region. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineering, including both internship and professional experience. The position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth, as you will collaborate with a dynamic team of engineering professionals. This role focuses on multidisciplinary projects that ensure federal facilities are optimized to meet military, security, and operational standards. While a PE license is preferred, candidates who have passed the PE exam and are awaiting licensure will also be considered.

Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Electrical Engineer IV with a salary range of $75,900.00 - $189,500.00 .

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design on federal facilities projects, particularly DoD facilities throughout the Pacific region, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and security requirements.
- Provide technical expertise in electrical systems design, including power distribution, lighting systems, fire alarm systems, and security systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, architects, and project managers to develop and execute project designs from concept through construction.
- Review and approve electrical designs, calculations, and drawings, ensuring high-quality, timely deliverables that align with client expectations.
- Support the development and management of project schedules and budgets, proactively identifying potential risks and providing solutions.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering an environment of knowledge-sharing and professional development.
- Ensure that designs meet federal regulations, safety codes, and project specifications, particularly in the context of DoD and military installations.
- Regularly interface with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects.
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, including both internship and professional experience, with a focus on MEP systems design.
- PE License preferred, or passage of the PE exam with licensure anticipated in the near future.
- Proficient with relevant software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM, with experience in electrical system modeling and design.
