What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Timber Framer position at Ponderosa Peaks?
Homestead Timber Frames builds massive, heavy timber structures by hand. We build incredible things because we love the smell and feel of wood and creating things people marvel over. We are masters with the slick and chisel and pride ourselves on 1/32” square over distances of 100 feet on buildings. We are that good! Are you?
We are a close-knit family that takes care of one another. We value patience, empathy, and compassion over skills. In other words, good human first, skilled worker second. You do not have to have experience, we will train you and help you develop the skills needed to be a timber framer.
We offer wages commensurate with skills, and 30 days of paid time off (holiday, vacation, and sick time). The entire company shuts down between Christmas and New Year, and again after the 4th of July, and a retirement plan with matching contributions. Travel and installation expenses are fully compensated.
