Logistics Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering water to different locations (up 3 flights of stairs or more) while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. The Delivery Driver will operate our company vehicle and needs to be a responsible driver with a clean driving record.

Duties

• Drive a company vehicle to deliver water.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of items during transport.
• Perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Communicate with employer during deliveries to ensure excellent service to customers.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.

Skills

• Experienced and responsible driver.
• Proficient in route driving with knowledge of local streets and highways.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Capable of performing heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and moving tasks safely.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
