Dental Assistant

We are hiring! We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the dentist during procedures and provide exceptional patient care. Job Duties may include:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Take dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical documentation
- Follow proper aseptic techniques to ensure infection control
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Clean and sterilize dental instruments and equipment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role. At least 1 year required.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
- Proficiency in using dental software systems
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines
- X-Ray certification is required

Hours:

• Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8 AM - 4 PM
• Tuesday 10 AM - 6 PM
• One Friday per month, 8 AM - 12 PM
