Influencer Talent Director

Ponte Firm manages social talent and connects talent with the best brands, endorsements, sponsorships and other opportunities to help tell talent stories, build impactful content and drive sales. With a 90 talent roster, which spans over 40 million followers, Ponte Firm masters multi-platform storytelling.

This role requires living in Austin, TX as we have a hybrid office, working from office and remotely.

Responsibilities

• First and foremost, grow, maintain and defend sales for our talent
• Handle consistent communication with roster of talent and provide strategy and counsel across all business matters including social media, industry trends, brand extensions and growth trajectory
• Cultivate new and leverage existing relationships with brand & agency contacts and work with the internal Brand Partnerships team to develop deal flow and meet revenue goal
• Collaborate with account teams to ensure that influencer selection, messaging, social guidelines, and materials are in line with brand messaging, aesthetic and overall strategy
• Oversee the implementation of digital campaigns, brand partnerships, and talent engagement initiatives
• Develop creative and strategic business ideas and new ventures with talent’s strengths/successes and development goals in mind
• Represent talent in contract negotiations and manage contract process
• Execute partnerships with talent from post contract phase through campaign completion
• Manage the logistics (travel, shipping product, etc) to talent/influencers for a specific campaigns and programs
• Take responsibility and accountability for ongoing initiatives, clearly define account team roles, and provide guidance and tools to facilitate goal achievement and client success
• Ignite steady drumbeat of proactive and inbound product requests, talent dressing opportunities, and entertainment event opportunities
• Develop and manage agency database of go-to talent, digital influencers and brand advocates
• Maintain and continuously grow network of powerful “turnkey” influencer, stylist, managers, celebrity and publicist relationships
• Stay apprised of new capabilities that are announced on existing social media platforms as well as new emerging social media platforms that are gaining popularity
• Develop and contribute to the new business process including research, proposal and pitch preparation

Qualifications

• Required: 4 years of influencer talent management
• Be a savvy, successful self-starter with at least a few years of relevant professional experience
• Know how to approach problem-solving with outside-the-box solutions, and be willing to take on a diverse range of assignments and creative projects
