POSITION: Marketing Manager
DEPARTMENT: Administration
REPORTS TO: Business Development Director
Job Summary: This individual is responsible for managing and coordinating the marketing and advertising of a growing plastic surgery practice with multiple providers and locations. The marketing manager is also directly involved in the development, implementation, and tracking of the strategic marketing plan.
Education and Experience:
- College degree including business-related courses with emphasis on sales and marketing.
- Five years of experience working as a marketing manager or marketing assistant.
Essential Skills and Abilities: * Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Canva, Photoshop, Filemaker Pro, and Illustrator.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and email marketing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Effective organization skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Presents a highly professional image
.RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Marketing/Advertising Activities
- Develop, maintain, and implement the practice strategic marketing plan, goals, and objectives.
- Develop and track the marketing and advertising budget; coordinate annual review of budget.
- Research trends in the medical aesthetics industry and digital marketing through Google Trends, social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.), YouTube and other channels.
- Grow video creation and publish monthly.
- Manage vendor/agency relationships.
- Determine what content will reach customers and develop a content calendar to coincide with events and specials.
- Utilize and develop both internal and external resources.
- Publish digital marketing content online as needed.
- Manage and implement email marketing campaigns.
- Develop and regularly update the marketing tool kit for use at all practice sites.
- Responsible for graphic design for all marketing promotions including advertising, literature, and displays.
- Manage the patient tracking database system, testimonial, and referral programs and regularly assess effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Manage and update practice website to ensure effective and current practice promotions, content, before and after pictures.
- Oversee and direct all media placement, including television, print, web and other related media.
- Design, produce, and distribute practice newsletter on a regular basis.
- Participate with management meetings on a regular basis to develop and update marketing initiatives.
2. Administration/Management
- Hire, train, evaluate, and manage marketing team members.
- Facilitate weekly team meetings.
- Perform other related duties to ensure effective communication.
