What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance position at Pontiac Care and Rehabilitation Center?
Pontiac Care and Rehabilitation Center -
We are currently seeking a Maintenace Worker to become a part of our small 80 bed long / short term care facility.
All potential employees will be subjected to a mandatory Criminal History Records check
General maintenance and repair experience needed. Experience is a nursing home preffered but not required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Must operate machinery and equipment, maintain in good repair, and store in an orderly fashion.
- Be able to handle and use simple electrical and plumbing equipment and make minor repairs.
- Be able to carry, push, and pull large equipment in and out of facility.
- Ensure that facility grounds are neat and in order.
- Assist with Preventative Maintenance duties as instructed.
- Painting, touch up painting, drywall
