We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Security System Technician Skill to join a leading Company located in the Fort Meade, MD surrounding area.
US Citizenship is required.
Candidate must possess an active Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance and Full Scope Polygraph.

Responsibilities :
Responsible for the installation and test of physical security, electronic, mechanical, and CCTV equipment
The equipment includes : door contacts, motion detectors, duress switches, glass break sensors, card readers, command keypads, turnstiles, request-for-exit devices, equipment enclosures, junction boxes, power supplies, media converters, cameras, camera lenses, camera mounts, conduit installation, copper and fiber-optic wiring installation and termination for all
Work may be performed in confined spaces, hazardous areas, adverse weather conditions, commercial leased facilities, and / or Government-owned facilities both inside and outside
Work may be performed at heights on masts, towers, roofs, and lift equipment
Long-term standing or sitting may be experienced
Travel is required in and out of the Continental US
Installs and tests components and wirings on Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Access Control Systems, and Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV)
Ensures work is in accordance with applicable codes and standard practices
Install IDS on Perimeter Fencing
Install security components at the discretion / direction of the level one technician
Basic Hiring Criteria :
Ability to acquire and maintain a US passport is required
Shall obtain and maintain appropriate industry safety certifications as required
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (electrician, fire alarm, controls, etc) or technical vocational experience in the installation of security, video surveillance, card access, and alarm systems of similar scope, type, and complexity
