Job Description:
Pontoon Staff LLC is seeking a highly experienced Senior Environmental Specialist/Asbestos Investigator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, engineering, or a related field, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities will include conducting asbestos and hazardous substances investigations, assisting Project Managers with project management and quality control, and developing and reviewing abatement and remediation plans.
Requirements:
- Current NYC DEP Asbestos Investigator license and NYS Asbestos Inspector certification
- 3 Years of experience in Asbestos Inspections/Investigations with knowledge of applicable regulations for New York State and New York City
- Proficiency in computer applications: Word, Excel, Power Point, etc
- Good writing and communication skills
- OSHA 10-hr. and OSHA 30-hr. Construction Safety certifications
