Summary/Objective
The Outside Sales Representative will sell products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele.
Essential Function

- Pool industry experience required.
- Must be willing to travel, occasionally may require overnight stay.
- Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
- Communicate with customers and help them identify and understand their product or service needs; identify and suggest products and services to meet those needs.
- Demonstrate the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any issues that may arise post-sale.
- Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
- Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
- Provide periodic territory sales forecasts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business, or related field or at least five years of related experience required.
- Valid Class C United States Driver’s License is required.
- An insurable driving record is required.

This position may require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or standing and working on a computer. Must be able to lift-up-to 100 pounds at times.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Based on branch location, work hours are subject to change. Must be flexible to work additional hours, evenings, weekends, and Saturdays during peak season.
