Pool Technician

Pay starts at $24/hour with OT over 40 hours for candidates with No experience. Pay WILL significantly increase based on EXPERIENCE and PERFORMANCE. Paid holidays, Paid vacation time, Paid sick time, Retirement plan with 3% company match. Performance based bonuses. All for full-time employees (after a trial period). This is a seasonal job that will run from 4/7-10/31. Free farmers tan with employment. WE ARE A DRUG AND ALCOHOL-FREE WORKPLACE.

Requirements:

• You must have a valid driver’s license and your own vehicle to get to and from work.
• You must have a clean driving record and your own auto insurance.
• Must be legally able to work in the United States.
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
• Must possess exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. A neat appearance and polite demeanor are necessary for daily contact with new and existing customers.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning or maintaining pools (not required) we will train.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English in written and oral forms.
• Occasional Saturday work is necessary.
• Team members will be working outside in all types of weather.
• Having at least a High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Must comply with all safety procedures, inclusive of safe working and driving habits.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Working 2 for part-time to 6 for full-time days a week 20-50 hours per week.
• Working full days 7-5 when on the schedule.
• Vacuuming pools and maintaining proper water chemistry as well as brushing, backwashing, and cleaning filtration equipment.
• Safely using and caring for a chemical test kit.
• Being responsible for maintaining a safe, organized, and stocked vehicle and tool bag.
• Safely working with hazardous chemicals and maintaining accurate records of usage.
• Assisting in opening and closing in-ground pools.
• Replacing pool liners and covers.
• Repairing or replacing filters, pumps, heaters and other pool equipment and accessories.
• Working independently with little supervision and as a team.
• Taking pride in their work and being respectful of property, equipment, and people.
