Swimming Pool Construction Laborer
Pool World is looking to hire full time seasonal pool construction laborer in our Burlington location for the 2025 season. Experience in construction, with concrete, with general plumbing or any similar profession is preferred but is not required as there are many on-the-job training opportunities. Hired individuals will be placed with a construction foreman and expected to help with every aspect of pool construction including but not limited to:
DUTIES:
Excavation by means of machine or hand shoveling
Grading of ground
Forming, pouring and finishing concrete
Plumbing of pool lines
Rebar work
Installation of liners, filter systems and other pool equipment
Other duties as assigned
IDEAL CANDIDATES SHOULD:
Be motivated, responsible, punctual & dependable
Possess a valid, clean drivers license
Be willing and able to work outdoors in all weather (rain or shine)
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs on a regular basis
Possess strong verbal & written skills to communicate with coworkers and complete daily paperwork

DAYS / HOURS REQUIRED:
Hours vary based on the job. Generally Monday – Friday 7 am – 5pm. Occasional Saturday may be required. 40 hours per week. All hours over 40 are paid at time and a half.
Our season generally begins mid April and runs through end October to mid November.
