What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Pools Plus?
We are looking for a warehouse associate to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse associate responsibilities include assisting in all facets of the property. Duties will include, but will not be limited to: assisting with processing orders, inventory control, stocking, unloading and loading trucks, operating forklift, assisting customers with merchandise, maintaining the building & grounds, as well as compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Unload truck deliveries and ensure proper placement.
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with the weekly item counts & ordering.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
- Conduct operations in a manner, which promotes safety.
- Ensure the optimal utilization of space through warehouse consolidation.
- Rotate products & restock inventory as needed.
- Lift and carry merchandise weighing up to/over 50lbs.
- Assists customers in checking and loading merchandise purchased.
- Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers, and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.
- Shrink wrap products on pallets as/if needed, prior to moving them.
- Maintain property as needed i.e. weeding, mowing & sweeping.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
